Mr F came home with this lovely book as a surprise for me on Friday. He knows that after Mykonos, Capri is my other favourite holiday destination so this was just such a perfect and thoughtful gift. It looks perfect on my coffee table too!
On Saturday the Reiss dress I ordered for my holiday arrived. Even though I bought it in the sale it came wrapped nicely.
A long time ago Reiss, Ted Baker, Karen Millen, Whistles (higher end high street) dresses were made of silk. Recently though they have been charging more and more and using only polyester or viscose which makes me cross as they are far inferior man made fabrics. I assumed this dress would be polyester which isn’t good on holiday when it’s warm in the evening but I was pleasantly surprised that it’s silk. The lower layer is also a contrasting crepe de chine which is a lovely detail.
Visited St Albans with my sister and bought this Lily and Lionel scarf in the Dressing Room sale. It’s so pretty and covered in ballerinas which of course I love. Degas is my favourite artist after all!
Apart from neon I have a penchant for stars; I have a star tattoo on my wrist and stars on my foot too. I can’t resist anything that has stars on and this Zara Home beach bag was just too cute and only £15 in the sale.
Treated myself to these lovely Castaner wedges. They heel detail is awesome, the suede is buttery soft and they are so so comfortable. I bought mine in the sale from My-Wardrobe who have now sold out however Kurt Geiger also have them. The quality is undeniable and I would have bought them full price.
Saturday night was house warming time at my friend Henrietta’s.
Hennie is a wonderful cook and these cheesy biscuits were delicious. They were also STAR shaped!!!
